DRY-SAIL AREA USAGE

The Dry Sail Area is primarily for dry-sailing boats that belong to one of the recognized S.I.Y.C. one-design fleets and boats used by the Junior Sailing Program. The area is not a storage area except in the case of dinghies used for transport to and from boats moored in the S.I.Y.C. mooring grids and other small sailing boats a prudent person would not leave on a mooring on a seasonal basis. All boats stored in the dry-sail area, other than those for the Junior Sailing Program, must be registered with the Manager each spring and the applicable fee paid. Any unregistered craft and/or trailers remaining in the dry-sail area on or after July 1st of each year will be removed and stored at the individual owner’s expense. Empty trailers may not be stored in the dry-sail area. Only trailers holding vessels which are dry-sailed may be stored in the dry-sail area during the season. Off season storage of Members’ boats or equipment on Club property is prohibited. Any craft or trailer remaining on Club property after October 31st each year will be removed and stored at the individual owner’s expense.
